Weekend Fun

We took a short trip to central Indiana/Illinois the past few days. We hiked at Turkey Run in Indiana, tubed down the Middle Fork of the Vermilion River at Kickapoo State Park (Illinois), and took a trip down memory lane at the University of Illinois (what’s with that new bell tower on the south quad behind Temple Buell?). Other than the major storms that rolled through on Friday night and the high humidity/temperatures, we had a good time.

Thanks to Maureen with the tip about bringing water shoes. Anyone visiting Turkey Run...this is a must for trail #3!
