Good Job Rob

Rob finished the Batavia Triathlon today; he beat his previous years times. He corrected me that this is his fourth year (not third as I mentioned in the previous post). Luckily, there was a bit of a break from the heat this morning...still humid.

Speaking of heat, we have a new air conditioner (& furnace too). They are not quite done yet, but it is working and we are happy. They will come next Friday to finish up and get the new thermostat working.

Collars... So, now that we are in two dog training classes, they have different opinions on collars. The German Shepperd school highly recommends the pinch collar for training (which I have had success with, I can fairly easily keep the dog under control at all times); the Park District trainer recommended the Easy Walk Harness (she actually bans the pinch collar from her class). So, we decided to make a second purchase and get the Easy Walk...HA!...easy walk my butt. Perhaps for the average dog this may work, but Andra is anything but average! Anyhow, when visiting the Premier website (the creator of Easy Walk), they have a second product...Gentle Leader Headcollar. After reading the pros and cons, this one seems like it might work better with our dog. Has anyone ever purchased this product?
