Desert Southwest

We are just about ready for our desert-southwest vacation. It seems that we are going to be slammed with heat at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The rim temperatures are just about perfect in the 70's...but below they are forcasting over 100 degrees. We know to remain hydrated - and will be hiking out starting in the early morning (6:00 am ish) - so hopefully it won't be that bad. We have our hats and sunscreen! Yesterday, I decided to make the decision that Wave or no Wave...we are going to see Rainbow Bridge. The "Motion" show played their Lake Powell episode this week which included a trip to the natural bridge - it sealed the deal. It is very pricy for the boat ride, but we have done our best to remain economical on the rest of the trip. I'll post pictures sometime after we get back. Hopefully, I won't have to quickly dive back into work.
