There were 13 placements with our agency in September (yes...13!)...9 boys and 4 girls. We only had the one call that didn't work out. :( This month we are thinking of our agency friends B&L who are in a match with a potential due date of October 31st...we are hoping this one works out for them!!
What are you doing on Sunday, October 18th? Come Run For Jack with us...Ackerman Park in Glen Ellyn...8:00 am. This is a great race for a number of reasons:
1) You set the price...your donation is 100% tax deductible. If you register via the Internet, they will email you the tax receipt.
2) Your donation goes towards education and research efforts towards improved detection and treatment of melanoma...a good cause!
3) The t-shirts are long sleeved...
4) Chip timing...but beware, there are actually some hills in the streets of Glen Ellyn.
